MOLASSES BAKED
BEANS (WITH BEER) RECIPE
3 cans beans, drained
1/2 cup beer
1/4 cup molasses
2 tbs chili sauce
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard
8 slices bacon, chopped
1 cup chopped onions
2 garlic cloves, chopped |

Heat oven to 350°. In bowl, combine first 7 ingredients. In
saucepan, cook bacon until fat is released. Discard all but
1 tbs bacon drippings. Add onions and garlic and cook until
onions have softened. Stir bacon onion mixture into bean
mixture, spoon into casserole dish. Bake 45 min. or until
done. Garnish with cilantro sprig. MAKES 6 SERVINGS
