| The Dueler H/P Sport is a Street/Sport Truck Summer tire
member of Bridgestone's Dueler family of light truck tires. The Dueler
H/P Sport was developed for the drivers of sport utility vehicles and
performance pickups. The Dueler H/P Sport is designed to deliver
predictable handling, traction and control on dry and wet roads. The
Dueler H/P Sport is not intended to be driven in near-freezing
temperatures, through snow or on ice. Dueler H/P Sport radials feature a high performance light truck tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design derived from Potenza RE050 Max Performance tires. The Dueler H/P Sport tread design features large shoulder and intermediate blocks flanking two continuous center ribs to provide responsive handling and stability on dry roads while wide circumferential grooves help water flow through the tire's footprint to increase hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The tire's structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon, along with a carcass reinforced by a hard sidewall filler between polyester cord plies to help resist distortion at high speeds and while cornering. |
